I've been drooling over this plane for 10/11 years. Now I'm getting one, now that I can fly my other EDF's safely. Man, this is the ultimate EDF for me. I'm going to build it the EXACT same way as on the video, but with using LIHV batteries, and swapping for the FMS 70mm motors. I can't wait.

Where is the CG? I haven't been able to find much online. There's no mention in the manual

Hi Rich , this jet is fantastic great features and flys great. I saw something come off the plane maybe the ventral fin inline with the runway near the water hopefully you can find it. Love the Viper 90mm and the orange Viper 70mm i have the 70 want the 90 .Happy flying

Great video, and awesome flying, but complaining about someone else at the Flying Field making noise by starting their planes engine and thus "ruining" your video is a little too precious IMHO. Everyone that is a Member of the Flying Club at that field has the right to conduct their pre-flight procedures to make their own flights safe and successful. As long as they are following the prevailing Club Rules regarding noise limits and/or gas/nitro/turbine engine use, the impact on the sound production quality of a UA-cam video is, in my opinion, not something a pilot can rightly complain about. Unless they are in violation of the Field Rules in some manner, I would suggest you shouldn't judge them like that. Everyone is under time pressures when it comes to getting to The Field and getting their flights in. If we all extend Courtesy to one another at The Field then our fabulous hobby will get even better. And please be clear, I'm not trying to be a jerk or call you out about it. And yes, I am just some rando on UA-cam, so ingore me or say I'm wrong, but acting like a gentleman is never a bad idea in this short life of ours. And again, great video, great plane, and clearly awesome flying skills. I wish for you sunny skies, light winds, and many happy landings! Cheers.

Where is the battery doesn't it come with the packaging?

Could think of anything more boring a helicopter that your not flying. Best place for this is in the bin and you going and by something better and lest overpriced.

Just a side note....people sometimes order items based on your review. The dimensions you approximate for the wheels are inaccurate. There is no way the front wheel is that large. In fact, if you remove 3 screws you will find that it is actually a 2" wheel. A 2 1/4" (57mm) will not work. I know because I waited a week only to find out it was wrong. Dubro low bounce 2 1/2" works great with some modification, but no way the dimension for the front works.

I love my SZD-54. It grabs whatever thermal activity exists and just goes up, up, up with one notch of flaps.

I just got a FMS Super Easy plane. I have not flown it yet. I read the instructions and I don't recall them mentioning a reflex mode. How does that mode work? How do I turn it on? I am new to rc flying. Have to work up the courage to fly my new plane

Did you figure out the lights yet? I seem to have lost my flash capability. Not sure what I did but I did get the navs to stay on solid but can't seem to get the things that should flash to do so.

One area they messed up on was the flashing navigation lights are in the forward direction and the solid white lights are on the outter wing tips. so i plan on swapping the position of those 2 lights on each side
